1991Evaton, Inc. was established in Connecticut as a privately owned company specialized in development of Portuguese Wines & Spirits.

2000Evaton was acquired by Sogrape Vinhos – Leader in the Portuguese wine producing industry – to become its commercial arm within the US market.

2001-2004Evaton has significantly grown and strengthened its portfolio by introducing a number of Sogrape wines, such as Mateus, Offley Port and Finca Flichman, as well as third party brands, such as Ramazzotti, Macieira Brandy and Anakena from Chile.

2005-2010In 2006 Evaton was appointed to represent selected brands distributed by Pernod Ricard, such as Busnel and Arak Razzouk. In 2008 Evaton began importing Framingham wines from New Zealand and in 2009 Los Boldos wines from Chile.
